Fire Rating Of PE Aluminum-plastic Panels

Leave a message

1. National standard basis
The fire rating of PE aluminum-plastic panels follows the national standard "GB 8624-2012 Classification of Combustion Performance of Building Materials and Products", which is mainly divided into:
- A2: non-combustible materials (such as mineral fiber core materials), flame spread index ≤20, smoke density level ≤30 (refer to the report of the National Fire Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center).
- B1: flame-retardant materials (commonly used flame-retardant polyethylene core materials), oxygen index ≥32, self-extinguishing after ignition.
- B2: combustible materials (ordinary polyethylene core materials), oxygen index ≥26, release more smoke when burning.

2. Analysis of key indicators
- Oxygen index: B1 level needs to be ≥32, the higher the value, the stronger the flame retardancy (data from China Academy of Building Research).
- Smoke density: A2 level requires ≤30, and low smoke characteristics are crucial for personnel evacuation.
