Kate - Pioneering Fire Safety in Aluminum Composite Panels

Fire poses a critical threat to modern infrastructure, including high-rise buildings, industrial facilities, hospitals, transportation hubs, and public complexes. Ensuring life and property safety mandates the use of rigorously certified fire-retardant materials for both exterior cladding and interior applications.

At Kate, we engineer the next generation of Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP) with an exclusive focus on advanced fire protection. Our solution lies in a revolutionary core technology. By utilizing Magnesium Hydroxide (MDH) and Aluminium Trihydroxide (ATH)-halogen-free, inorganic flame retardants-we construct a core that actively suppresses combustion through endothermic reactions and smoke dilution.

The "Fire Triangle" (fuel, oxygen, heat) defines the prerequisites for ignition. Kate disrupts this chain at its source by eliminating the traditional fuel element. Our core is a non-combustible, mineral-based compound, permanently bonded between two aluminum skins, fundamentally preventing the panel from contributing to a fire's fuel load.

► Our commitment to safety is validated by international standards:

Kate FR B Class panels are certified to NFPA 285, EN 13501-1, ASTM D1929, and ASTM E84.

Kate FR A2 Class panels comply with EN 13501-1 and ASTM E84.
Both classes are independently assessed to contribute up to 2 hours of critical fire resistance.

Beyond the Panel: Integrated Control for Guaranteed Quality
Kate's commitment extends beyond supplying finished panels. We maintain complete vertical integration by manufacturing our own core raw materials and supplying specialized production equipment. This end-to-end control ensures unmatched consistency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. We provide clients with a true one-stop solution, from core chemistry to final installation support, guaranteeing that every Kate panel delivers on its promise of performance and safety.
