Core features of PE aluminum-plastic panels

Leave a message

1. Differences in fire resistance

- A2-grade PE aluminum-plastic panels are mostly used in public places such as high-speed rail stations and hospitals, with a fire resistance limit of up to 1 hour;

- B1-grade is suitable for commercial building curtain walls, with moderate cost and meeting fire protection requirements;

- B2-grade is limited to low-risk temporary facilities and must be used with fire-retardant coatings.

2. Comprehensive performance advantages

- Lightweight and high-strength: density is about 3.5g/cm³, tensile strength ≥100MPa (GB/T 17748-2016);

- Strong weather resistance: fluorocarbon coating can resist ultraviolet rays and has a service life of 15-20 years;

- Convenient processing: can be cold-bent and cut to adapt to special-shaped designs.

3. Limitations

- Low-fire-rated PE aluminum-plastic panels are prone to curling when exposed to fire, and require a composite fire-resistant backplane to improve safety;

- Recycling is difficult and environmentally friendly than pure aluminum panels.
