1. Visual method
Under different light sources, people will observe the color of the same object differently. And two objects of the same color under a certain light source may also show obvious color differences under another light source. Therefore, if you want to accurately evaluate the color of PE aluminum-plastic panels, you need to perform visual measurements under the same light source environment.
Usually, the test is performed under natural scattered sunlight or using a standard light box.
2. Instrument measurement method
In order to avoid human errors caused by visual measurement, you can use a color difference detection instrument to measure. The colorimeter can express the color difference between the color card (standard sample) and the PE aluminum-plastic panel sample (test sample) in a digital way. Users can judge the color cast of the PE aluminum-plastic panel based on the L*a*b* value and ΔE measured by the colorimeter.
